AHIMA23 Conference Rates

Group Discount:

Groups of 7 or more from the same company - please fill out the AHIMA23 Group Registration Form. Please note that all attendees must register at the same time to receive the discount. Discount does not apply to Virtual Conference registration.

*Student pricing is available only for AHIMA Student Members.

• Sunday, October 8 – 2:30–3:30 p.m. (EST) - New Attendees Meetup and Orientation
• Sunday, October 8 – 5:45–7:30 p.m. (EST) - Welcome Reception in the Exhibit Hall Meetups – Please check the schedule of events for more information on specific meetups, dates, and times
• Tuesday, October 10 – 6:30–9:00 p.m. (EST) - The Great Gathering (All Attendee Reception) – Maryland Science Center.
• Sunday, October 8 – Tuesday, October 10 – AHIMA23 Conference Exhibit Hall – Visit the hall for a variety of networking and interactive opportunities with AHIMA23 sponsors, exhibiting companies, and fellow attendees.

Daily Meals and Breaks

*Please note that except for The Great Gathering, all meals and breaks will be served in the AHIMA23 Exhibit Hall

Sunday, October 8 – Welcome Reception in Exhibit Hall. Appetizers, soft drinks, beer, and wine to be served.

Monday, October 9 and Tuesday, October 10:
• Continental breakfast
• Morning and afternoon coffee/tea breaks
• Lunches

Tuesday, October 10 – The Great Gathering (All Attendee Reception) at the Maryland Science Center – Food and beverage stations will be set throughout the museum.

CEUs and Nursing Contact hours

Sessions offering CEUs and Nursing Contact hours are identified in the conference schedule of events. More information on earning CEUs and Nursing Contact Hours.

Please note that your badge is your ticket for all AHIMA23 Conference events. Wear your name badge at all times to gain access to sessions and get scanned for CEUs.

Refund and Cancellation Policies

Cancellation Policy for In-Person Conference (October 8-11, 2023, Baltimore Convention Center)

If you cannot attend the in-person conference, you may provide a substitute or cancel your registration For either option, please notify us in writing by sending an email to registration@ahima.org as soon as possible.

A $150 USD processing fee will be assessed if cancelled by Friday, August 25, 2023.

Starting August 26, 2023, any registration that is cancelled will be forfeited unless cancellation is due to an emergency (pending written documentation of emergency, to be reviewed and approved at the discretion of AHIMA staff).

No refunds will be granted after Friday, August 25, 2023.

Cancellation Policy for Virtual Conference (October 26-27, 2023)

If you cannot attend the virtual conference, you may provide a substitute or cancel your registration. For either option, please notify us in writing by sending an email to registration@ahima.org as soon as possible. A $100 USD processing fee will be assessed if cancelled by Friday, October 6, 2023. Starting October 7, 2023, any registration cancelled will be forfeited unless cancellation is due to an emergency (pending written documentation of emergency, to be reviewed and approved at the discretion of AHIMA).

No refunds will be granted after Friday, October 6, 2023.

Change from In-Person to Virtual

The deadline to switch from in-person to virtual registration without penalty is Friday, August 25, 2023.

If you purchased in-person and virtual registration together and request to cancel the in-person registration portion but keep the virtual registration, there will be a $150 USD processing fee if the cancellation occurs by Friday, August 25, 2023.

Substitutions

You may make substitutions by requesting them in writing.

Please send an email to registration@ahima.org to request substitutions. Appropriate registration-type fees will be assessed for substitutions.
