Virtual AHIMA23 Conference: AHIMA CEU Information
Attendees of the virtual AHIMA23 Conference can earn up to 23 AHIMA CEUs (combined) for education sessions and General Session attendance. AHIMA collects AHIMA CEUs based on the completed surveys for each session.
To ensure that your AHIMA CEUs are recorded, please confirm your email address to ensure that it matches your account on my.ahima.org. AHIMA CEUs earned from the AHIMA23 Virtual Conference will be reported to the AHIMA Certification Center by December 12, 2023.

A maximum of 12 (combined) Nursing Contact Hours are available to AHIMA23 Virtual Conference attendees.

The Survey Portal closes on December 4, 2023, at 6 p.m. E.T.
Keep track of the session survey codes shown approximately two-thirds the way through the on-demand videos to unlock the survey.

1. Track Session CEU Survey Codes: After attending a session, a unique code (e.g., Teal or Daisy) will be displayed at its conclusion. You can write these down on the last page of this document for reference before entering them online.
2. Accessing Surveys: There are two methods to access AHIMA CEU and Nursing Contact Hours surveys.
You can access them when logged into the AHIMA23 Conference App or the AHIMA23 Website.
From the Conference App: After a session ends, click the Evaluation icon. You can also visit the AHIMA CEUs or Nursing Contact Hours button to access evaluations.
From the Conference Website: Post-session, click "CE Survey" on the presentation pop-up. 
3. Entering Session Survey Code: Enter the Session Survey Code for the session you're evaluating/claiming credit for and click the green "SUBMIT" button.
4. Evaluate the speakers and presentations.
5. Repeat for Each Session: Repeat this process for each session attended, as each has a unique code. Session surveys will become accessible at the session's end time. 
6. Finalize Surveys: Once you've evaluated all the sessions you attended, click "SUBMIT" to finalize your surveys.
You will receive a green check mark beside each task as it is completed.
7. Accessing Your Certificate: For Nursing Contact Hours, after completing your session survey task, click on and submit the "Complete Profile" task to access your certificate. Enter the requested information, and you can then download your certificate.

How will I receive AHIMA CEUs (Continuing Education Units) for Virtual sessions?
Attendees of AHIMA23 Virtual will complete session surveys to collect AHIMA CEUs.

How do I download a certificate of the Nursing Contact Hours earned at the Virtual Conference?
Download the certificate using the Evaluation Portal. First, use the Complete Profile task to add the required information, then click Download your Certificate.
How many Nursing Contact Hours can I earn at AHIMA23 Virtual Conference – either during the dates of the conference or during the on-demand period?
By attending the AHIMA23 Virtual Conference and/or the on-demand period you may earn up to 12 Nursing Contact Hours.
How many CEUs can I earn at AHIMA23 Virtual Conference – either during the dates of the conference or during the on-demand period?
By attending the AHIMA23 Virtual Conference and/or the on-demand period you may earn up to 23 AHIMA CEUs.
