Jami Woebkenberg, MHIM, RHIA, CPHI, FAHIMA, is Sr. Director of HIM Operations at Banner Health in Phoenix, Arizona, where she has worked in leadership roles for 19 years. She served on the AzHIMA Board of Directors in various roles, including 2 terms as President and a term as Director. Jami has volunteered in with AHIMA through serving on practice councils, writing articles, serving on workgroups, and writing practice briefs and policy statements. She recently served as a Director on the AHIMA Board of Directors and was Chair of the AHIMA Board of Directors Governance Committee. She is currently the Chair of AHIMA’s Health System Leader Advisory Council and is a Mentor in AHIMA’s newly launched M2M Connect program. Jami has Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Health Information Management and a Master’s degree in Health Informatics and Information Management. Jami is a Fellow of AHIMA.
