Shiny George

Shiny leads revenue cycle at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, collaborating with newly merged hospitals and implementing improvement initiatives. With a background in strategic projects, she holds degrees in Health Information Management and Health Informatics from Temple University.

Shiny collaborates with finance, clinical, and operational leaders to address improvement initiatives in patient access, insurance verification, financial counseling, HIM operations, coding, clinical documentation, billing, collections, charge capture compliance, and accounts receivable management.
She is responsible for physician business service operations and serves as the revenue cycle lead for Jefferson Health.
Prior to her current role, Shiny was the Senior Director for HIM and Clinical Documentation Improvement.
Shiny's strategic project experience includes implementing ICD-10 and Epic Access and Revenue Cycle system implementation.
